Since moving to Nashville from his hometown of Atlanta, GA, Allen Parker has wasted no time in developing an impressive portfolio of work as an audio engineer. His client list includes the likes of Dan Auerbach, Dierks Bentley and Joe Walsh— rock acts, country mainstays, and bona fide icons. Allen began his music career much earlier, though, as he grew up playing both drums and percussion in classical ensembles and rock bands.
Shortly after beginning his degree in music business and production at Belmont University, Allen began working in studios around town. He worked as a staff engineer at Ocean Way Nashville for several years, where he quickly developed professional and personal relationships with many of music city’s finest musicians, engineers, and producers including Dan Auerbach, Jay Joyce, Ross Copperman and mentor, Ben Fowler. Since 2008 he has devoted himself to freelance work and now lends his studio know-how and well-honed musical sensibilities to projects in numerous Nashville studios. Since January 2016 Allen has been the Chief Engineer and Studio Manager at Easy Eye Sound; A Nashville based studio owned by artist/ producer Dan Auerbach.
